The Big Idea: The Holy Spirit gives you power...the power of wisdom, courage and joy, to do what Jesus wants us to do, just ask!

Scripture: Luke 3:16 NIV - "John answered them all, "I baptize you with water. But one who is more powerful than I will come, the straps of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire."

The Big Idea: The Holy Spirit is like fire, it spreads and it spreads in us the more we learn about God. When can we share the spirit with others and we don’t lose anything when we do, we have just as much as we started out with.

The Big Idea: God loves each one of us-He doesn’t want one to be lost. He is patient and he will search for us. Sometimes, like the sheep we wander, He wants us to be with Him and that is a choice we can make. Jesus rejoices over us when we choose to follow Him.

The Big Idea: Another name for the Holy Spirit is the Holy Ghost–it's just another way of saying the same thing.
